Our Mission

At Ethos Environmental, our mission is to help rural communities and small family farms thrive while caring for the land and water that sustain us all. We believe healthy watersheds and strong local economies go hand in hand. By restoring creeks, reducing erosion, improving water quality, and reducing wildfire risk, we work side by side with landowners to ensure that environmental stewardship supports—not hinders—rural livelihoods. Our work is guided by respect for the land, local knowledge, and the people who depend on both.

Our Goals

– Support Rural Livelihoods: Provide practical, science-based tools and on-the-ground assistance that help small farms and ranches stay productive while protecting soil and water.
– Restore and Protect Watersheds: Rehabilitate creeks, wetlands, and upland habitats to reduce erosion, improve water quality, and strengthen natural resilience to drought and wildfire.
– Build Community Capacity: Train, employ, and collaborate with local residents to grow a skilled rural workforce in restoration, stewardship, and sustainable land management.
– Honor Cultural and Ecological Heritage: Partner with Indigenous peoples and community groups to protect native species, traditional knowledge, and the living landscapes that connect us all.
